Alexandra J Rogers PhD

Dr. Rogers began her career as a psychological assistant, doing psychological, educational, and neuropsychological testing.  After completing her education and licensing requirements, she branched into individual and group therapy, parenting groups, and implementing school-based interventions.

Later in her career, she advocated for the autism community through the Grandparent Autism Network. Dr. Rogers co-led a weekly drop-in support group for children, parents, and adults on the autism spectrum.

During the span of her career, Dr. Rogers gave presentations on topics of suicide prevention, relaxation techniques, parenting autistic children, and police training on handling autistic individuals.

She served as the newsletter editor, webmaster, and president of the Orange County Psychological Association.

Now retired, Dr. Rogers focuses on writing books and articles about mental health.

She is passionate about helping parents understand what drives their children’s actions, arming them with time-tested methods to manage difficult situations, and making mental health and family harmony available to people who cannot access therapy when things go wrong.
